Frisco Police reported that Kneeland died from a gunshot wound that seemed to have been self-inflicted. At the beginning of the day, officers responded to a welfare check at his house.
According to reports, Kneeland had been in a car accident near the southbound lanes of a local parkway before authorities’ arrival. Police say that Kneeland fled on foot and was later found dead. The investigation is still ongoing, and officials have provided no further details.
